Weight-loss & Exercise Program
No pills, potions or lotions, just good old-fashion hard work!
If you're struggling to lose weight or are being evaluated for gastric bypass surgery, then this is the fitness and nutrition program for you! Obesity damages weight-bearing joints (knees, hips, ankles, etc.) over time but can also create or increase pain in other areas of the body such as the muscles, stomach and head. Chronic headaches as well as stomach, arm, chest and jaw pain have been tied to excess body weight. Losing weight will not only improve your energy level but reduce pain you may be experiencing throughout your body.
Feel like you've tried every exercise and diet regimen out there and just can't get results? There may be a genetic factor holding you back. On day 1, you'll take a genetic swab test that will identify your genotype (body blueprint) and show your potential responses to different aspects of body weight management. You will receive a Personal Report providing detailed information about your specific genes and direction on how to potentially maximize your health and well-being through diet, exercise and dietary supplements.
If you're considering gastric bypass surgery, you will need to start a fitness and nutrition program in order to pass your evaluation and get approved for the surgery. But how and where do you start? Our program can help you maximize your weight loss efforts and get you ready for surgery should you decide that option is right for you. Our small class size (no more than 3 people per session) provides a safe, private and judgement-free zone for you to exercise in and do the necessary work to reach your personal health goals.
Our program includes:
- Genetic Testing with GxSlim Personal Report to maximize your weight loss potential
- 3 semi-private exercise sessions/week in the privacy of our office (3 person limit)
- Nutrition Consultation
- Nutrition & Food Plan tailored to your specific needs based on genetic test results
- Option to add-on Metagenics supplements to support your health goals
1 Month Fitness Course & Nutrition Program - includes genetic testing, 3 days/week semi-private exercise sessions & tailored meal plan.
WHEN SHOULD AN ATHLETE SEE A CHIROPRACTOR?
Just as people get a flu shot at the beginning of the year to try to prevent getting sick, athletes of all ranks shouldn’t wait to see a chiropractor until after an injury has occurred. While chiropractic has been proven to be an excellent source for injury rehabilitation and healing, it is an even better resource for preventing the damage from happening. Chiropractors view the body as a whole, taking into account all aspects of health. Our team at Dallas Chiropractic Metrics has the resources to provide adjustive procedures, physical therapy, and soft tissue massage to address the nervous, skeletal, muscular, and ligamentous systems. Through this approach, the body is allowed to function at its optimal level, keeping you off the bench sidelined with injuries throughout the season. If you are an athlete in the Farmers Branch area, contact Dallas Chiropractic Metrics today to schedule your individualized consultation.
As Jerry Rice said, "Chiropractic care helped me stay healthy and succeed in the league for as long as I did."
