COVID-19 Updates:
Office Rules & Procedures
We have remained OPEN as we were and are considered essential by Texas State Law, but limited our services to acute pain patients only. On MAY 1, 2020, per Gov. Abbott and the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE), we opened to ALL PATIENTS (both acute pain & wellness patients).
Listed below are the practices & procedures that have changed in our office. These changes will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
-
An appointment is REQUIRED, no walk-ins will be allowed. Please feel free to call our office for same day availability.
-
We are NOT treating any illnesses (allergy, viral, bacterial, or other), only the aches, pains and muscle tightness/stiffness that are common symptoms of illness.
-
If you are sick or have been in contact with someone who has been sick, please let us know when you book your appointment. We can and will accommodate but will need to do so in a manner that maintains the safety of staff and other patients. You will be booked after hours and PPE will be required.
-
Our office has always followed CDC/OSHA guidelines for patient safety and since April 3, 2020, we have required ALL PATIENTS wear a face mask or covering while in our office and wash their hands with soap/water upon arrival. On June 20, 2020, by order of Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, ALL DALLAS BUSINESSES must REQUIRE their patrons to wear a face mask or be fined $500 daily. Therefore, we have no choice but to REQUIRE ALL OUR PATIENTS (without exception) wear a face mask or covering while in our office.
-
Only those with actual appointments to be treated will be allowed in the office. All others must wait in hallway or car. Please do not bring any extra people to your appointment unless you are a minor and need a parent present. This is the only way for us to maintain safe separation and sanitation practices.
-
The desk for the littles and coloring books/colors have been removed from the waiting area. Unfortunately, it is not feasible to sanitize between each patient visit. A coloring sheet and a couple of crayons will be given to each child if they would like. They may keep them or throw them away. We might even start a wall for the artwork.
-
Snacks/drinks must be asked for. We cannot in good conscience leave them out to be rummaged through by multiple guests and risk cross contamination. We can and will make you a cup of coffee and/or get you a cup of water. Please feel free to ask, we are here to serve you!
-
Please be ON TIME to your scheduled appointment. We use Clorox and CaviCide on all surfaces after each patient and Lysol in the air. We can not wipe the tables dry, for the topical agents to work they must be allowed to dry on their own. Thus, being timely to appointments will assist greatly in making certain there is time between patients for this to be effective.
-
We use a UV Sanitizer in every room of our office, multiple times a day. The UV Sanitizer sterilizes the air and surfaces (e.g., walls, floors, ceilings, art work, etc.) that cannot be cleaned as often or as easily. Unfortunately, the UV Sanitizer does produce a smell similar to burned dust while it completes its sterilization process. Thank you for understanding and we apologize for the odd-smell!
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these complicated times. Please call our office at (214) 272-9509 if you have any questions or concerns. Call or schedule your appointment online today!
